Seasonal Job Fair – March 7 | 3-6pm

The Job Fair will take place at the Quincy Park District main office at 1231 Bonansinga Dr. from 3-6pm, on March 7.  Everyone in attendance will be granted an interview.  Applicants will fill out an application and questionnaire while awaiting their interview.

Open Positions

Park Ranger  – Seasonal Park Range Min. Age 21, valid driver’s license EEO. Apply @ quincyparkdistrict.com or at QPD office

Certified Lifeguards -Indian Mounds Pool, ensure patron safety in outdoor aquatic facility, teach swim lessons

Certified Umpires – Officiate Competitive Leagues

Little League Umpires – Officiate Little League games

Scorekeepers – Baseball/Softball, record in score book and run scoreboard

Soccer Referee – Youth soccer league in spring and fall, Adult soccer league in fall

Summer Playground – Leaders for AM & PM sites, will lead groups of youth in games, crafts and other activities

Special Pops – Leaders will work with children with special needs, supervising and engaging in fun activities

Nature Education – Assist with running of nature education based program

Swim Lesson Instructors – Indian Mounds Pool, AM & PM swim lesson sets

Concessions – Indian Mounds Pool, serve light snacks and operate cash register

Front Desk – Indian Mounds Pool, control entry point into facility and operate cash register

Pool Maintenance – Indian Mounds Pool, light maintenance such as mowing grass, cleaning locker rooms, vacuum pool

Batting Cage – Concessions, paddle boats/kayak rentals, mini-golf admittance, hitting cage assistance, operate cash register

Fishing Program – Teach youth how to fish and assist with fishing activities

Tennis Program – Lesson Staff, work with youth and families to facilitate learning the game of tennis

Volleyball Leagues – Officiate league play

Field Maintenance Staff (A.M.) – Must be over age 18. Help assist with daily setup of Ball Fields throughout the Park District.
