Bob Mays

Bob Mays - Quincy Park District

Bob Mays was dedicated in 1996 and a shelter house, restroom, playground, outdoor fitness, and walking path were added in 2008.

The shelter and restrooms incorporate energy-saving design with LED lighting, tankless water heaters, and motion-controlled lighting.

Bob Mays Park serves as the 18th Street trailhead for Bill Klingner Trail which was completed in 2009. The park includes 53 acres of restored prairie with interpretive signage.

Brand new to the park, Quincy’s second 18-hole disc golf course. Installed in 2015, the course runs a total of over a mile in length with long and short fairways that can be a challenge for players of all skill levels.  Scorecards and maps are available in containers in the park.
