Public Sale of Surplus Equipment

The Quincy Park District is accepting sealed bids for the sale of surplus equipment.  Bids must be submitted to the Quincy Park District Business Office located at 1231 Bonansinga Dr, Quincy, Illinois no later than 10:00 A.M. on July 10, 2018; at which time they will be opened and read allowed.  Bids must indicate the proposed lump sum purchase price for the specified piece of equipment and include a 5% bid security.   Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “SEALED BID/SURPLUS EQUIPMENT July 2018.  The following surplus equipment is offered for sale:

Items will be on display for public inspection at the Maintenance Building located at 1319 Bonansinga Dr., Quincy, IL. Equipment may be inspected between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, or by appointment.  All equipment is offered in “AS IS CONDITION”, the Quincy Park District will make no warranties including, but not limited to performance or condition.  The purchaser will be required to pay in full, sign a Hold Harmless Agreement and pick up the equipment within thirty (30) days of the sale date.  The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities that may occur during the bidding process.
