  • WAVERING AQUATIC CENTER WILL CLOSE FOR THE SEASON ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 15.
  • Heat Alert Warning Policy. When the National Weather Service issues a Heat Alert Warning for Quincy the cost of admission will be $1.00 during that period. A heat alert warning is when the heat index is going to be 105 degrees for at least two consecutive days. The heat index is the actual temperature and humidity combined.

Have your next birthday party here! We offer Birthday Splashes and private party rentals. Call or stop by the Quincy Park District office to book yours today. Birthday Splashes are $60 for 10 People. Pool Parties start at $250 for up to 50 people. Call (217) 223-7703 for more details.
FAMILY DAY! On Sundays, a $11 fee allows your family to swim all day.

Season Pool Passes - Receive discount if purchased by May 28, 2010

Each season pass holder must stop by the QPD office to have their picture taken for a Photo ID. Purchase your pass at the QPD office, 1310 Washington, Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

A season pass covers your admission fee for Indian Mounds Pool and Wavering Aquatic Center all season.

Pool Age Policy

To insure for the safety of the public and to provide for an environment where the lifeguards can perform their duties of watching over all patrons, the following admission policy will be strictly enforced:

  • An infant less than 2 years of age will be admitted FREE only if they are under the constant supervision and the immediate contact and care of an adult at least 19 years old.
  • All youth (ages 2-12) must be accompanied by a responsible adult or teenager who is to provide for their direct supervision while they are at the pool.
  • Teenagers (ages 13-18) will be admitted to the pool and will be allowed to supervise and be responsible for younger youths in their charge.
  • Adults (ages 19 and up) when admitted, will be the only patrons allowed to enter the water during "safety checks".
