Log Cabin Village

Log Cabin - Quincy Park District

Friends of the Log Cabins is a not-for-profit organization formed in 2007 to restore, preserve and promote the utilization of the structures in the Lincoln-era Log Cabin Village, located on Quinsippi Island Park.

Log Cabin - Quincy Park District

To get there, go straight through All America Park, located at Front & Cedar Streets (the northwest corner of Quincy) and cross the bridge to reach this unique island park. The village, built in the late ’60s to early ’70s consists of four log cabins, a log corn crib, a log church, a stone smokehouse and an herb garden. The majority of these structures were built in the early 1800s near the city of Quincy and were moved and re-built on the island.

Hours: The village is open sunrise to sunset.
