Beginning June 9 - July 25, 2008 Monday through Friday the Quincy Park District's Summer Playground program will open to area children ages 5 - 12 years. This seven week program requires no enrollment fee for participation. The playground program will continue to be a "drop in" style of registration. with the supervision of experienced playground leaders, children will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of special activities. Daily arts and crafts, outdoor games and speical activities are provided for children. (Minimal transportation fees may be charged for field trips.) Playground will be held June 9- July 25, Monday - Friday. Playground sites from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. will be Johnson Park (18th & Harrison) Berrian Park (14th & chestnut) & Bob Mays Park (2533 N.18th). Afternoon sites will be from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Madison Park(24th & Maine), Washington School(1401 North 8th.), South Park (by Tennis Courts,11th & Jackson), & Reservoir Park (24th & Chestnut).
